Funky learning with Nicki – Messy Play sessions and creative opportunities for learning through play in multiple locations in Torfaen on a daily basis.
Birthday party packages in the comfort of your own location, home, or garden. I will provide all the activities and resources and provide your children with a variety of sensory activities, craft materials, and play options for your young child to explore.
My sessions are designed to engage your child and give them opportunities to try something different in a fun, safe, caring environment.
Sensory Play
At Funky Learning With Nicki, your child will be encouraged to use hands, fingers, feet, and toes to make marks which will help to strengthen their core muscles and develop their gross and fine motor skills.
We use Sensory play, painting, playdough, scribbling, dance, and more to encourage your children to learn early writing and other skills through play.
Classes, parties, and events are offered for 1 and a half hours daily from Monday to Thursday.
The skills they learn are vital for such things as holding and controlling a pencil and letter and number formation when they reach school

“I am very passionate about Early years education and quality provision and also a mother of 4.
I am a dedicated, experienced high achieving teacher, subject leader, and manager with a proven track record of outstanding teaching for over 26 years. I have successfully worked with a range of stakeholders in the UK and international settings to develop the potential of all pupils. This year I have decided to follow my heart and set up my own pre-school, messy and sensory stay and play sessions, and fun kiddies groups for children aged 0 to 5 years. “
My qualifications include Bed Hons, PGCHD Early Years, Threshold/ Teachers of Excellence. Pediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene level 2, Cache level 3.
Mindfulness and Yoga for 3 to 7 year old amongst others.

Sessions will start at 10 am for one and a half hours and only £5.50 per session.
